Escif and Kobra on Festival in Moscow

According to the program of the Festival ‘Best City on Earth’ the Department of Culture of Moscow gave 150 city walls for paintings to the best Russian and foreign street artists.

Street Art Museum and ‘Novatek Art’ company got two of those facades. Escif (Spain) and Eduardo Kobra (Brazil) were invited to participate.

The former paint topical anecdote characters devoted to the consumer society and vandalism. The latter is photorealist and nonrepresentationalist. Escif painted the palm in Znamensky lane. Kobra painted 16-meter Maya Plisetskaya near to the Bolshoi Theatre. Before starting he noted that he really wanted to make something connected with the history of Moscow to this city.
